Data Deletion

At ProHire, we respect your right to control your personal data. This policy implements your right to erasure, including under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 17. You can request the deletion of your data at any time using the methods described below.
How to Delete Your Account and Data
Option 1: In the App
- Open the ProHire app or visit prohire.club.
- Tap Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
The following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, photo)
- Job postings you created (including volunteer and community jobs)
- Bookings and booking history
- Messages and conversations
- Contractor profile, portfolio, service packages, and certifications (if applicable)
- Push notification tokens and preferences
Some data is retained after account deletion for legal, financial, or platform integrity reasons. See the table below for full details.
This action
cannot be undone.
Option 2: By Email
If you are unable to access the app or website, you can request account and data deletion by emailing us at:
prohireclub@gmail.com
Please include the email address or phone number associated with your ProHire account. We will process your request within
14 business days and confirm once your data has been deleted.
For EU/EEA users: In accordance with the GDPR, we will process your deletion request within
30 calendar days of receipt. If we need additional time (up to a further 60 days for complex requests), we will notify you within the initial 30-day period.
What Data Is Deleted
The table below describes what happens to each category of data when you delete your account.

What Data May Be Retained
In addition to the specific categories above, some anonymised, non-identifiable data may be retained for the following purposes:
- Analytics: Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics that cannot be linked to your identity.
- Legal compliance: Transaction records may be retained for accounting and tax compliance as required by law.
- Fraud prevention: Data related to account violations may be retained to prevent repeat abuse.
Third-Party Data
ProHire uses Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage. When your account is deleted through the app, your Firebase Authentication record and the primary Firestore user document are removed. Some subcollections and Firebase Storage files are retained as described in the table above. For information about how Google handles data, please see the

If you used a third-party sign-in provider, you may also wish to revoke ProHire's access:
- Apple Sign-In: Revoke access through your Apple ID settings under Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple.
Purchases made through Google Play or Stripe are subject to those providers' data retention policies. ProHire does not retain your payment card details.
Your Rights (EU/EEA Users)
If you are located in the EU or EEA and are unsatisfied with how we have handled your deletion request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority (supervisory authority). A list of EU Data Protection Authorities can be found on the
