Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 7, 2026
ProHire ("we", "us", or "our") operates the ProHire mobile application and website at prohire.club (collectively, the "Platform"). This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them on our web platform, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.
This policy is provided in compliance with the EU ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC), which requires us to obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Cookie Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function properly, improve user experience, and provide information to site operators.
Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining on your device for a set period or until you delete them). Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties whose services the website uses ("third-party cookies").
Some third-party services may also use browser local storage or similar technologies (such as `localStorage` or `sessionStorage`) for purposes equivalent to cookies. Where relevant, this policy covers those technologies alongside cookies.
2. Cookies We Use
The following table describes the cookies and equivalent browser storage used on prohire.club:

3. Cookie Categories
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function correctly. They enable core features such as user authentication, remembering your consent preferences, and completing payment transactions. Because they are necessary for the Platform to operate, they cannot be disabled.
Includes:
- Authentication and session cookies — Set by Firebase to keep you signed in and verify your identity across page loads.
- Consent preference cookie — Stores whether you have accepted or declined optional cookies, so the consent banner is not shown on every visit.
- Stripe checkout cookies and local storage — When you initiate a web subscription checkout, the Stripe-hosted checkout page may set cookies or use browser local storage for checkout session continuity, fraud detection via Stripe Radar, and payment processing. These are set by Stripe's domain and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. They are only active for users who initiate a checkout session.
3.2 Analytics / Performance Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform by collecting and reporting information anonymously. We use this data to improve the Platform's functionality and user experience. These cookies are only placed on your device after you provide consent through our cookie consent banner.
Includes:
- Google Analytics 4 cookies — Collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and general interaction patterns. No advertising cookies are used.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect web usage analytics. When you grant consent, Google may set cookies on your device to measure user interactions and session data. Google processes this data in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
Stripe
When you initiate a subscription checkout on the web, you will be redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe may set cookies or use browser local storage on that page for the following purposes:
- Checkout session continuity — To maintain your checkout session as you complete the payment flow.
- Fraud detection — Stripe Radar uses signals including browser storage data to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
- Payment processing — To complete the payment transaction securely.
These cookies and storage entries are set by Stripe's domain, not by prohire.club, and are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. ProHire does not have access to or control over these cookies.
We do not use any advertising or marketing cookies. No data collected through cookies is sold to third parties.
5. How to Manage and Delete Cookies
5.1 Consent Banner
When you first visit prohire.club, a consent banner will appear allowing you to accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site, which will trigger the consent banner again.
5.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View what cookies are stored on your device.
- Delete individual cookies or all cookies.
- Block cookies from specific sites or all sites.
- Block third-party cookies while allowing first-party cookies.
Common browser cookie settings pages:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Platform from functioning correctly (for example, you may not be able to stay signed in, and blocking Stripe's cookies will prevent checkout from completing).
5.3 Google Analytics Opt-Out
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
6. Cookies on the Mobile App
The ProHire mobile application does not use cookies. Mobile analytics are collected through Firebase Analytics, which uses device identifiers rather than cookies. For more information on mobile data collection, please see our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. More Information
For more details about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
